Nixon electrical supplied and installed a new aircon for me, they have done a nice job in a really timely manner. The electrician (David I believe) on the day also helped me out and quoted and replaced a damaged power outlet. The subcontractors who Nixon use also did great work as well. The Technicians where clean and respectful while working in my home.
On time and completed the work with great results. We had a number of power points replaced, new downlights installed, new celling fans installed, removal of old flush mounted light fittings and power run to a new outdoor kitchen.
The admin staff, scheduling team and operations managers all communicated proficiently and overall was a great experience and result.

Nixon Electrical were super efficient and helpful. I rang at 9am and the electrician was there by 10am, same day, no hassles. A lovely young man who was diligent, thorough and very good at his job. Would recommend them to anyone. We needed an Electrical Safety Certificate, and what should have been straight forward ended up a bit more complicated because of a faulty connection. The electrician chased it down, replaced the wiring and all good.

I had a major electrical fault with my solar panels and was worried it would cause a fire on my roof. I tried contacting a number of electricians but as it was after hours i wasn't having much luck. That was until Nixon saved the day! I was lucky enough to talk to Darren and his customer service is honestly top tier! He listened to my concerns, and immediately knew the issue. He talked me through how to eliminate any immediate risks and next steps to get the problem resolved. I will only be calling Nixon for any future work needed and I highly recommend them! Our capacitor on our water pump died Christmas eve. We called after hours and Noah helped us. He did not have a capacitor but found someone that did and provided us with all the details. Just had my brand new aircon put in, the young men who put the aircon in were in and out within 30 minutes and the sparky Ethan did a great job hooking everything up. The whole process was overall quick, easy & they were all very friendly and professional including the lady’s behind the phones who help me through everything. Would definitely recommend.

Have had the guys from Dodds electrical come through several times now for different things and each time has been amazing. The quality of their workmanship and level of service is fantastic. The guys are all top notch and really helpful including their admin staff. Can't fault them in any way and will happily use them again later on for some other jobs. Nothing is too hard and everything is done really well. Thanks heaps for another great experience!

I recently committed to having an air-conditioner installed, being a larger size one needed for my home, I did my homework on who to have supply and install. I was pleasantly surprised and impressed with Dodds Electrical. From the first phone to the installation they were professional, while still holding that personal care level. A big thank you to Jamie and Frazer, who I am more then happy to recommend. They did a fantastic job of installing my air-conditioner and Frazer completed some other electrical work on site. Both employee's are an asset to Dodds. I will recommend and happily use this company again.

Technically yes, but it’s not recommended for regular use. A standard powerpoint delivers a very slow charge and isn’t designed to handle the sustained load of nightly EV charging. A dedicated charger is safer, faster, and the right long-term solution.
It depends on the age of your home and what’s already running off your board. Many homes, particularly those built before 2000, don’t have the spare capacity to safely support an EV charger without an upgrade. We assess this during your site visit and let you know upfront before any work begins.
Single-phase chargers are the standard option for most homes and will suit the majority of EV owners — they typically deliver a full charge overnight. Three-phase chargers charge faster and are worth considering if you have a larger battery EV, drive high kilometres daily, or your home already has three-phase power connected.
